Wall Crucifixes

Wood crucifixes in this selection are all high quality
and made in America, Italy or Jerusalem.
From the earliest records available, the cross was as an object
of veneration in Christian homes. Early and throughout the third
century, various Church fathers including Clement of Alexandria
and St. Augustine reference this fact as an already established
custom. Early Christians used the cross to distinguish
themselves from the dominant pagan culture with accounts of ancient
Christians being called "cross-worshippers". What we
would recognize as crucifixes begin to appear in the late sixth
